Questions and Answers:
Age: It is our policy that we will not test any individuals under the age of 18
Medications: All medication must be disclosed prior to undertaking a test. Many medications will not affect a polygraph however the failure to disclose all medications prior to the test may result in the cancellation of a test.
Psychological Illness: It is our policy that we will not test an individual suffering from severe depression, has made suicide attempts in the past or is currently under the care of a mental healthcare professional.
Anxiety: Each case is reviewed individually. Unless an individual is currently being treated by a health care professional for severe anxiety then it is unlikely that this will affect the ability to take a test. It is completely normal for individuals to be anxious and nervous when taking a test.
Medical conditions: All medical conditions must be disclosed prior to the test date. The failure to disclose a medical condition may result in the cancellation of the test.
Pregnancy: It is our policy not to test any individual that is or may be pregnant.
How many questions can I ask? The examinee can be asked up to three questions, it is recommended that the question all be related to the same test issue.
Where the test will be conducted? The test will be conducted in a meeting facility in your area, one of our offices or at a commercial property. Tests will not be conducted in private residences. Tests for commercial clients can be conducted at their premises if a suitable facility is available.
Does it hurt? No, the components consist of three sensors that clip to the examinees fingers, two flexible tubes that are placed on the examinees chest and stomach and a blood pressure cuff that is placed around the examinees bicep. The blood pressure cuff may cause mild discomfort
