Terms and Conditions

All references made to Third Man Investigations LTD within this document apply to any faction and/or branches represented by Third Man Investigations LTD.

Please read through the following Terms and Conditions carefully. Your contract – and thusly your utilisation of our services – is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with the following Terms. This document outlines the conditions of all services provided by Third Man Investigations.

Whilst not all of the outlined conditions may be applicable please ensure that you read and fully understand the conditions of the specific services that you are requesting. Should you as the client request additional services that differ from your original engagement it is important that you refer to this document in order to understand the terms related to that additional service. Should you have any queries regarding our Terms and Conditions please contact your Case Manager prior to signing.

1. General

1.1 These terms and conditions of contract constitute the sole agreement between Third Man Investigations LTD (“The Provider”) and the client in connection with all and any services provided by the provider to the client.

1.2 Third Man Investigations LTD is registered in England and Wales under Company Number: 15237945. Registered Office: 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, England, IP28 7DE.

2. Terms of Engagement

2.1 The provider shall provide services to the client in accordance with the written specification confirmed between the parties and subject to these terms.

2.2 Instructions can only be accepted from clients over the age of 18 years.

3. Fees and Charges

3.1 All fees for services provided are to be agreed prior to the start of the investigation. Unless otherwise agreed, fees are payable in advance.

3.2 Any additional charges will be notified to the client and agreed before being incurred.

3.3 No refund will be given once the work has commenced unless exceptional circumstances apply and are agreed in writing.

4. Complaints

4.1 We hope that you will have no reason to complain about any of the services we provide to you. However, in the event that you are not satisfied please direct your complaint to us in the first instance. All complaints made to us will be handled in an efficient manner and we will strive to solve them quickly. We endeavour to respond to any complaint within 3 working days.

5. Confidentiality

5.1 All information provided by the client will remain strictly confidential. We will not disclose any information to any third party without prior consent unless required to do so by law.

6. Data Protection

6.1 The provider agrees to comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018 and any other applicable data protection legislation.

7. Reporting

7.1 All reports provided by the provider to the client are for the use of the client only and are not to be disclosed to any third party without the provider’s written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 The provider shall not be liable to the client for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of the provision of the services.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

10. Acceptance

10.1 The client’s acceptance of these terms is indicated by signing the contract, confirming by email, or continuing to instruct the provider after receipt of this document.

11. Cancellations

11.1 The client may cancel instructions in writing before the start of the services. If services have already commenced, a refund is only possible for unexpended costs and time not incurred, at the provider’s discretion.

12. Subcontracting

12.1 The provider may subcontract part of the services but will remain responsible for all services provided to the client.

13. Force Majeure

13.1 The provider shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
